IWOA Forestry Field Day in Edgewood, Iowa on Tuesday May 19, 2026
This field day will include a tour of the Scot and Jane Christiansen Woodland and Kendrick Forest Products
Registration begins at 8:15 am, presentations start at 8:45. We will divide into two groups to carpool to the two different sites; Each group will go to both of the sites (Kendrick’s in Edgewood, and CRP forestry sites on the Christiansen Woodland. We will have a catered lunch back at the Christiansen Homestead, followed by a Q&A session on forest management options, IWOA updates, and door prizes. The field day will adjourn at 3:00 pm.

To Register: Please Call ISU Clayton County Extension and Outreach: 563-245-1451 They will need the name, phone # and email of each person attending. Cost to attend is $25, payable at the event, to cover tour, food, drink, and door prizes.
Deadline to register is Thursday, May 14 OR until first 100 people have registered due to tour limits. Note: tour will require use of staircases and catwalks, closed-toed shoes. Children ages 9 and up allowed with adult supervision.
